Rising companies Buzzin’ Bee Entertainment and Sutton Records to collaborate on publicity, bookings
Two veterans of the music industry have now combined forces. Buzzin’ Bee Entertainment and Sutton Unlimited Inc., both run by Filipino-Americans, have decided to team up.
Specializing in guerrilla marketing/promotions, artist management, and event planning, Buzzin’ Bee Entertainment (www.thebuzzinbee.com) was created by Monica Busby and has already made waves in Southern California, landing high-profile gigs for independent musicians and establishing major-league affiliations. Since Buzzin’ Bee Entertainment made its debut, Busby has worked with notable persons such as Platinum performing artist Lil’ Zane, Manta Entertainment, the producers of musicians Destiny’s Child and Busta Rhymes, Elle Hamm, TV host of Phat Farm; and renowned Filipino-comedian Rex
Navarette.
Sutton Records, founded by multi award-winning All-Music Guide writer Michael Sutton, released the US debut of Philippine Gold artist Prettier Than Pink

Suey, the album has received airplay on more than 60 American radio stations including
KROQ-FM in Los Angeles, CA. The label’s publicity firm has acquired international coverage and radio spins for unsigned and independent artists worldwide, from country to jazz to hip-hop to alternative rock. Sutton Records will act as Buzzin’ Bee’s promotions powerhouse while the latter will handle its bookings.
